We are seeking a skilled and proactive professional to join our EMEA Logistics team, focusing on optimizing our global trade operations. The role involves ensuring compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws, streamlining processes to reduce costs, managing risks, overseeing external audits, and leading training initiatives. Additionally, the role includes contributing to regional strategies aligned with our company's global objectives. Candidates should have experience in customs compliance, international trade, and process optimization.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Ensure adherence to customs regulations and international trade laws, including tariff classifications, documentation, and trade agreements.
* Streamline customs and trade processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
* Identify and mitigate risks related to compliance, delays, and penalties.
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance trade capabilities and support global trade objectives.
* Maintain security standards such as AEO and CTPAT.
* Coordinate external customs audits.
* Conduct regional customs training sessions.

Candidate Profile
* Higher education in International Trade, Logistics, or Supply Chain, or significant experience in these areas.
* At least 5 years of relevant experience within Customs, Trade & Logistics operations in the EMEA region.
* Proven ability to develop solutions for complex customs processes.
* Experience working within an international organization.
* Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication skills in English and German.
