Lead and further develop the Strategic Procurement functionEstablish, negotiate, and conclude framework agreements with Railway Undertakings (RUs), logistics service providers, material suppliers, and refurbishment workshopsFunctional and disciplinary leadership of the European GCU (General Contract of Use) Claim Handling TeamFull responsibility for claim management in line with the GCU, including escalation handlingDevelop and implement sustainable procurement strategiesMonitor KPIs, manage suppliers, and assess risksCollaborate closely with Technical Operations, Market Operations, Finance & Controlling, and Legal
Several years of experience in strategic procurement, ideally in the freight wagon industry or logisticsSolid knowledge of the GCU is an advantageProven leadership experienceExtensive expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and claim managementExcellent communication and facilitation skillsAnalytical, structured, and solution oriented mindsetHands on attitudeVery good command of German and EnglishWillingness to travel (approx.20%)
