We are an established European industrial group specialising in process measurement and industrial sensing solutions, with operations across multiple Western European markets.
As part of our continued expansion, we are launching a new operation in Austria and are looking for a commercially minded Technical Sales Engineer to become the first local hire.
This is a full-time, office-based role. The location is flexible. The successful candidate must already be residing in Austria. Remote working from outside the country is not possible.
The role
* Managing inbound enquiries generated via Google advertising and localised websites
* Advising customers on appropriate industrial and process solutions (training provided)
* Preparing quotations and managing orders from enquiry through to repeat business
* Building long-term customer relationships with industrial clients
* Acting as the local commercial point of contact within the wider European group
* This role involves no regular travel and no cold calling.
As the business grows, this role is expected to develop into a senior local position, including:
* Increased responsibility for local customers and operations
* The opportunity to build and lead a small local team over time
About you
* Currently living and working in Austria
* Native-level German, with strong professional English
* Commercial experience in industrial, technical, or B2B sales
* Comfortable discussing technical products with customers
* Structured, reliable, and interested in long-term career development
