The hydraulic cylinder category is a strategically important and fat growing segment at PALFINGER. As a strategic buyer in the Palfinger organization, you will be responsible for procurement management around hydraulic cylinders. Within this function as Sourcing Group Lead Buyer you will be responsible for global sourcing groups in our organization. You will maintain close contact with our domestic and foreign suppliers, as well as with many internal plant interfaces.**Responsibilities**:
- Management & leading of global sourcing groups- Supplier relationship management from a technical and commercial perspective- Price negotiations with total cost approach and value analyses- Development of target costing for hydraulics cylinder- Contribution on development projects which belong to your sourcing groups- Selection, evaluation and qualification of suppliers- Close cooperation and support with other functions (R&D, SCM, OPS, QC)- Procurement marketing- Contracting and negotiation**Qualifications**:
- Technical / commercial training (technical apprenticeship, technical college, college, studies...) or adequate knowledge- Technical knowledge in reading drawings.- 5-10 years of experience in international procurement or a similar function- Experience in project buying and target costing.- English spoken and written.- Good IT user knowledge (SAP R3 / S4 Hana, MS Office..)- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting- Negotiation skills and experience with international contacts- Experience in the industrial environment- Affinity to technical processes- Hands-on mentality- Willingness for professional and personal development**We offer**:
