About the role
Join our well-established family-owned Australian company as aSales and Operations Manager and play a key role in managing and building a high-performing sales team across three showrooms, and ensuring smooth daily operations across sales, manufacturing, logistics and office admin functions. You will be the glue that binds the sales, administrative and warehousing functions within the company, driving sales, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
Location: Springwood, QLD 4127. Please note, this is a 100% on-site role due to the nature of the industry and the role requirements.
The responsibilities include the below and more:
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Performance Leadership
Lead and oversee our small sales team, with a strong focus on our proven sales and follow up strategy, while building relationships with clients using a consultative approach. Lead, manage and coach the sales team and Store Managers on a monthly basis during store visits and other communications. There is minimal travel required for this role, with visits to our Sydney and Melbourne showrooms every two months.
CRM & Systems Oversight
Own the CRM function (HubSpot), canvasing for opportunity, ensuring data integrity, pipeline optimisation, and sales reporting.
Conversion & Revenue Growth
Drive initiatives to increase lead conversion through our sales and follow up processes.
Operational Management
Manage all aspects of inventory management, production planning, delivery scheduling, purchasing, order processing, logistics, and manufacturing operations to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience both in the showroom and after product delivery.
Client Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with our discerning clientele, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Reporting
Prepare and present reports on business performance, sales metrics, and inventory status to senior management. Monitor and report on KPIs, ensuring that all employees strive to achieve high service levels as a priority.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Extensive retail and or sales management experience and knowledge, with sales of high-ticket items highly regarded.
Proven track record of driving sales performance, improving conversion rates, and achieving revenue targets.
The ability to nurture& develop team members, and lead hands-on from the front.
Proficient in CRM systems (preferably HubSpot), with a strong understanding of sales reporting, automation, and data-driven decision making.
Demonstrated experience & a proven track record in Operations Coordination preferably within a manufacturing and retail environment, with hands-on experience with stock control and logistics.
High level of computer competency and accuracy with Microsoft Office, Excel, MYOB and HubSpot CRM or similar systems.
Exceptional time management skills and high attention to detail.
Immaculate professional presentation.
A positive 'can do' attitude with high energy, drive and enthusiasm.
Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal.
