Job Title: Project Manager Plant Engineering
In your role as a Project Manager in Plant Engineering, you will lead and execute engineering projects within the plant environment, ensuring delivery in line with business and technical requirements. Acting as a key interface between engineering, operations, and stakeholders, you will drive efficient project execution, foster collaboration, and contribute to continuous improvement and high‑quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage plant engineering projects or work packages, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
* Analyze project requirements, identify risks and root causes, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
* Apply standardized project‑management methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks.
* Develop, maintain, and adapt project plans to meet changing technical and operational conditions.
* Coordinate cross‑functional project teams and stakeholders, ensuring strong alignment and collaboration.
* Monitor project performance, including timelines, costs, quality, and KPIs.
* Ensure clear communication, reporting, and presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute innovative solutions within Plant Engineering.
Qualifications
* Technical education in mechanical, electrical, or semiconductor engineering (e.g., HTL, Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), or an equivalent qualification.
* Relevant professional experience in project management, depending on educational background.
* Strong knowledge of project‑management methodologies, tools, and governance processes.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solution skills with a structured and independent working style.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
* Proven ability to collaborate across functions and work effectively in complex environments.
* High level of ownership, resilience, and adaptability.
* Hands‑on mentality with strong self‑organization and a commitment to delivering results.
