We are seeking a Senior E&IC (Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls) Engineer to act as an internal expert for multidisciplinary project teams within our Power Plant Engineering Department. This role will focus on Jenbacher gas engine-based turn-key power plants and complex energy projects including CHP installations, biogas/biomethane plants, hydrogen applications, microgrids, district heating and hybrid energy systems. FH or equivalent), with 15+ years' experience in E&IC engineering, ideally in gas engine power plants and EPC/EPCM projectsStrong knowledge of international, European, and North American electrical standards, automation systems, instrumentation, functional safety, and explosion protection (ATEX)Experience with containerized/stationary power plant projects, control systems, grid connection, electrical protection, and multidisciplinary team coordinationProficient in project and general management (certifications preferred), EMSR planning, automation systems (PLC, SCADA), engineering tools (Comos PT, EPlan), and functional safety/SIL implementationSkilled in technical training, recruiting, and personnel development; fluent in German and English (business level)Analytical, solution-oriented, resilient, and proactive with strong communication, stakeholder management, and team coaching skills; customer-focused and willing to travel up to 30%At INNIO, we offer an attractive compensation package that is above the collective agreement for the metal industry.
