Role Description:
The E-commerce Channel Manager (Amazon & D2C) will develop and lead the implementation and execution of the Oceania Ecommerce strategy by driving revenue and profit across dedicated Ecommerce platforms such as Amazon, along with future opportunities across Social Commerce platforms such as Tik Tok Shop and our own D2C site. They will also work collaboratively with other members of the Commercial Team and across other key customers such as Chemist Warehouse, Woolworths & Coles, Nutrition Warehouse and other Specialty retailers to enhance the Ecommerce performance of our brands.
Therole will focus on managing our key customer Amazon in the short term, with the longer-term goal of building out the Ecommerce channel.
Principal Accountabilities
- Develop the 3-5 year Ecommerce strategy for Oceania
- Lead the negotiation and implementation of the annual Amazon business plan
- Maximise revenue & profit of the Amazon business
- Own the Amazon promotional & activity plan
- Identify opportunities for growth with Amazon and all customer across Oceania
- Collaborate to continue to grow our partners outside of Amazon
- Own the development and scoping of the Oceania D2C site
- Develop and lead the Oceania Social Commerce strategy
- Become the Ecommerce expert for the business
- Ensure close alignment with other regions working on Amazon and other Ecommerce customers
Key Challenges & Success Measures
-Remaining the #1 Sports Nutrition brand on Amazon in Australia
-Out perform category & channel growth
-Ability to influence the Ecommerce performance of existing Specialty & Pharmacy customers alongside commercial colleagues
-Assist in the development and scoping of local D2C site
Skills, Know How and experience
-3+ years’ experience working with Amazon in a commercial capacity
-7+ years’ experience across other Ecommerce channels
-Clear ability to negotiate and delivery on Joint Business Plans
-Team player, self-starter, highly motivated and ambitious
-Demonstrated track record of building and delivering retail media strategy
-Curious with the willingness to continually learn
-Ideally with some experience in Ecommerce / D2C outside Amazon
-A personal passion for Health & Wellness and Sports Nutrition is a must
