About the Role
As our Assistant Manager – Operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the wider travel operations team and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our travel services. This is a hands‑on operational role requiring a proactive mindset, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
You will work closely with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to coordinate bookings, manage operational processes, resolve issues, and deliver exceptional customer experiences from start to finish.
Your Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Will Include:
Working closely with suppliers to confirm availability, pricing, and service details
Maintaining and updating internal systems with confirmations, amendments, and operational information
Supporting the operations team with booking confirmations and required documentation
Responding to client and local partner enquiries in a timely and professional manner
Preparing, coordinating, and distributing operational documents to ensure smooth on‑ground delivery
Monitoring bookings and proactively resolving operational issues before and during travel
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of itineraries and services
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is current and compliant
Assisting with operational workflow management and team coordination
Being available to work on a rotating roster, including weekend shifts, within operating hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
The Successful Candidate
We are looking for a highly organised, detail‑oriented, and motivated professional with a genuine passion for travel and customer service.
You Will Bring:
Experience
* Proven experience in operations, administration, or customer service, ideally within the travel industry
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience will be highly regarded
* Experience with a GDS system is advantageous but not essential

* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficient problem‑solving abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* A proactive and customer‑focused approach
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
