Frontend Developer | Senior (all genders). Start by arrangement. Total hours available full-time or part-time from 30 h. Location: Salzburg or Vienna.
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you like to develop high-end projects with a WOW effect. The latest technology stacks in the frontend area excite you, and you place great value on really good UI/UX. You work on forward-looking digital products from a wide range of industries, providing you with challenges, variety and diversity.
Responsibilities
* High-performance frontend development of digital products ranging from classic corporate websites to complex eCommerce platforms and data-driven interactive dashboards.
* Analysis of project requirements in frontend and evaluation of the appropriate frontend architecture together with your lead developer.
* Handling complete projects together with an interdisciplinary team (3-4 other development colleagues, UI/UX designers, project managers, etc.).
* Independent development of HTML/CSS/JavaScript modules.
* Implementation of sophisticated animation and design concepts, and data-driven optimization.
* Continuous improvement of digital products used by thousands of users internationally every day.
* Ongoing development and re-evaluation of our frontend technology stack.
What you can contribute
* Excellent skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6.
* Knowledge of frontend development tools such as TypeScript, SASS, Tailwind, Storybook, Vite, etc.
* Familiarity with modern JavaScript web frameworks such as Vue or React.
* Understanding of UX/UI challenges, web performance, browser compatibility and accessibility.
* Experience in connecting web services.
* Self-confidence, assertiveness and ability to handle conflicts.
* Degree in multimedia/computer science or comparable training. As a senior, you bring 3-5 years of professional experience in this field, or related roles in the digital environment. If you are not yet senior, you may still apply—up front you will receive finishing touches toward senior level.
Our Offer
In addition to great benefits, we offer an annual salary starting at EUR 56,000 gross (incl. holiday pay and Christmas bonus) on the basis of a full-time position. Your actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience.
