Principal Product Manager - OneAgent (m/f/x)
Join Dynatrace as a Principal Product Manager for OneAgent, the foundation of our observability platform. In this role, you will shape strategy, define roadmap, and drive innovative product enhancements that deliver deep, scalable insights across cloud, containers, hybrid and on‑premises environments.
Your Responsibilities
* Define the product roadmap and balance short‑term improvements with long‑term innovation.
* Collaborate with engineering, design, and go‑to‑market teams to deliver seamless, impactful integrations that delight customers.
* Coordinate with other OneAgent Product Managers and partners to plan features, services, and releases.
* Establish and own success metrics such as stability, instrumentation latency, coverage, resource overhead, and upgrade behavior.
* Gather feedback from internal customers—support, sales, and customer success—to prioritize integrations that add measurable value.
* Maintain high compatibility across OSes, virtualization, container platforms, and cloud/hybrid/on‑premises setups.
* Drive continuous improvement in emerging areas such as containers/Kubernetes, serverless, new runtimes, real‑user monitoring, front‑end instrumentation, edge & IoT.
* Represent customer and market voice in shaping telemetry capture across modern and legacy environments.
* Align OneAgent initiatives with broader platform goals, including Grail, AppEngine, and Unified Observability.
* Serve as a company‑wide subject‑matter expert, sharing knowledge with the organization and customers.
What Will Help You Succeed
* 7–10+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in cloud, data ingestion, observability, or integrations.
* Experience working with enterprise customers and B2B SaaS products.
* Proven collaboration with multidisciplinary teams of product managers, engineers, architects, designers, and business stakeholders.
* Deep technical understanding of agent‑based monitoring and instrumentation, observability signals, and performance trade‑offs.
* Familiarity with Linux, Windows, containerization, virtualization, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
* Track record of delivering products at large scale—low overhead, high reliability, cross‑platform compatibility.
* Ability to balance maintenance, technical debt, performance, and feature development.
* Innovative thinking that blends market insight with business strategy to create differentiated value.
* Proficiency in data analysis to drive informed decision‑making and measure product success.
* Strong communication skills for both strategic vision and detailed execution.
* Proactive, hands‑on personality with high drive and dynamic mindset.
* Clear sense of ownership, accountability, and bias for action.
