Your Role:
* Design, engineering, and documentation of PLC and distributed control systems, operator interfaces, as well as low- and medium-voltage installations, protection and excitation systems for power generation, oil & gas, and process industry applications, including the planning and sizing of field instrumentation, mechanical components, and cable systems
* Independently review manufacturing and installation activities and contribute to site supervision and commissioning, providing technical consulting to customers and ensuring the correct implementation of systems and plants
* Deliver sound technical recommendations throughout all project phases to ensure project execution within agreed schedules and budgets, while complying with applicable quality and safety standards
* Provide technical and organizational support to project managers and project leads during technical reviews and in collaboration with customers, partners, subcontractors, and suppliers, demonstrating a customer-focused mindset, contributing to high customer satisfaction, and showing a willingness to travel (approx. 40%)
What It Takes To Run What Runs The World
* Completed technical education (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, or University) with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, or a completed apprenticeship/technical school in electrical engineering with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience
* Solid general IT skills, particularly in MS Office, AutoCAD, and ECAD systems (e.g. EPLAN P8, COMOS PT), as well as SAP
* Strong commitment to safe working practices and strict compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety regulations
* High level of self-motivation, openness to new topics, and a continuous willingness to learn and adopt new technologiesTeam-oriented and solution-driven working style combined with very good written and verbal communication skills
* Very good command of German (C1) and good command of English (B1), both written and spoken
* Willingness to travel within Austria (approx. 40%), primarily in project-based blocks aligned with the project lifecycle

In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this position is € 60.000 gross per year (May 2025). There is a clear willingness to offer compensation above the collectively agreed minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
