Samsung SDI is a full-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.Your core responsibilities are:As a Strategic Buyer, you will continuously monitor supplier markets, identify trends and risks at an early stage, and provide deep expertise on cost structures and processes of your assigned components.You will be accountable to develop a strong and competitive supply base for the assigned components in alignment with global SCM strategy and close cooperation with internal stakeholders.You will supervise the supplier onboarding process from first contact up to supplier release and will establish strong partnerships with strategic supplier.As part of interdisciplinary expert teams, you will help to shape the future of e-mobility and play a key role in securing our company's long-term goals.The motivated and committed team and the agile organizational set-up will give you the right environment to bring your visions alive and to continuously develop yourself.What you need is:Completed technical or commercial education5+ years of experience in purchasing (preferably in automotive industry)Solid expertise in commercial and contract lawDeep experience in metal manufacturing processes (stamping, extrusion, casting) is a plus; willingness to build expertise in this area is essentialLogical mindset combined with a structured manner of thinkingStrong communication and negotiations skillsProactive, structured, and future-oriented way of workingOur offer for you:With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 65.000,-We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.Our Benefits for you:Our most important resource?
