We are looking for a
Senior Supply Chain Specialist
to support and coordinate material planning and logistics processes across European sites.
This is a
regional expert role
within a matrix organization, focusing on process alignment, KPI improvement, and driving consistency across multiple locations. The position requires strong stakeholder management and the ability to operate in an international environment.
Responsibilities
Coordinate material planning and logistics activities across European sites
Act as a functional lead within the European MP&L network
Ensure alignment and standardization of planning and logistics processes
Act as a gatekeeper for MP&L standards and support their continuous development
Monitor and improve key supply chain KPIs (inventory, OTIF, forecast accuracy, logistics costs)
Support and coordinate the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process
Drive inventory‑related initiatives and ensure structured follow‑up
Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, sales, and logistics stakeholders
Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
Requirements Education & Experience
University degree or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or material planning
Experience in a multi‑site or regional environment
Experience in functional coordination without direct line management
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of material planning and logistics processes
Hands‑on SAP experience (MM/PP/SD/WM/EWM preferred)
Advanced MS Excel skills (analytical level)
Understanding of S&OP and inventory management
Knowledge of Lean principles
Languages
Fluent German
Fluent English
