How you will make an impact
* Key member of 5-person FP&A team, reporting to Head of FP&A
* Partner with management to support strategic decision-making in Home Care & Retirement Living portfolios
* Deliver timely and insightful analysis to drive operational improvements and cost‑saving initiatives across broader aged care business
* Input in monthly board reporting and CFO packs
* Support business planning, including budgeting and operational planning
* Continuous improvement focus - collaborate with broader team including BI, Data & Analytics and Finance to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency (eg. Automation, dashboards, process improvement)
* Provide support to wider Finance and Corporate Development team as needed (eg. Half‑Year and Year‑End ASX deliverables, M&A activity)
Key responsibilities
* Key stakeholders - develop close working relationships with National GM (Home Care), National GM (Retirement Living) and select cost centre owners (eg. National Head of Catering, GM - Repairs & Maintenance) - act as primary contact for financial queries and analysis
* Partnering - analyse performance and explain variances between budgeted and actual results having regard to key performance metrics and operational activity
* Reporting - provide monthly internal management reporting of operational and financial performance, including key drivers, analysis and trends
* System setup/integration - Regis' home care business is implementing a new CRM/ERP system (Alayacare) - setup and streamline processes, controls and outputs for both finance and operations
* Budgeting - work with Commercial team to prepare Home Care & Retirement Living annual budgets and forecasts
* Business plans - support management to prepare business cases for continued growth and expansion of home care business in line with Regis' strategic plan
* M&A - assist corporate development team with acquisition support in home care (BodeWell acquisition made in 2025 doubled Regis' home care business)
What you will bring to the role
* Strategic and analytical thinking - ability to look beyond the numbers and identify root causes
* Strong commercial awareness and robust numerical skills
* Curiosity - ask questions, look for improvements in our ways of working and service delivery
* Proactive mindset with a collaborative approach to problem solving
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Passion for using financial insights to drive operational improvements
* Flexibility, commitment, team oriented and ability to thrive under pressure
* Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial control
* Experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance team highly desirable
Experience & Qualifications
* Business / Commerce Degree in Accounting or Finance
* Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) or Certified Practising Accountants (CPA)
* ~5+ years' experience in a corporate or professional services environment
* Experience in FP&A or Commercial roles, or project roles in this space, highly desirable
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - financial modelling experience preferred
* Police check
