Responsibilities
Relationship Management & Strategic Alignment
Act as the primary contact for local markets and regional media leads; build and manage partnerships (content licensing, co‑marketing, co‑productions); facilitate communication between HQ and markets; translate HQ strategies into market‑specific plans that align with global KPIs; mentor the Media Partnership Manager and foster collaboration through case studies and kick‑off calls.
Partnership Optimization & Activation
Support the execution of local campaigns by providing toolkits, creative materials, and implementation guides; monitor performance, consolidate insights, and conduct business reviews to identify opportunities for enhancement; negotiate, renew, and optimize partnerships while working closely with creative teams to develop localized content, campaigns, and co‑marketing initiatives tailored to specific markets.
Operations & Market Support
Onboard and train partners and regional teams to ensure alignment with HQ processes; host workshops, meetings, and events with media partners and clients to drive engagement; represent the network at events to identify new opportunities and strengthen relationships.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor partner deliverables, campaign outcomes, and return on investment; leverage analytics tools to track performance; provide regular updates, share best practices, and deliver strategic recommendations to headquarters and other stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement and informed decision‑making.
Market Development & Intelligence
Proactively identify new opportunities in emerging markets and craft tailored solutions to address specific challenges faced by partners; gather and analyze market data; stay informed of regulatory changes to keep strategies relevant and effective.
Qualifications
7+ years of managerial experience in partnership management, media distribution, or business development, preferably in the media industry.
Proven success managing high‑value local market partnerships and complex stakeholder relationships.
Experience in international HQ or regional/local market settings, with cultural adaptability and global collaboration.
Strong leadership skills, team management expertise, and a results‑driven approach.
Knowledge of digital content distribution, platforms, or sports/media rights, with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
Team‑player mentality with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; flexible to work independently and travel internationally.
Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2,446 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market‑oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
