EB Research Institute GmbH is a non-profit biotechnology institute based in Salzburg, Austria. It is a joint venture between DEBRA Austria and Salzburg University Hospital.
Our institute focuses on translational research and development with the goal of improving the lives of patients suffering from Epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a rare genetic skin disease also known as “butterfly disease”. Through innovative scientific approaches, we aim to accelerate the development of effective therapies and improve clinical outcomes for affected individuals.
We are looking for a Data Scientist with strong expertise in the analysis and interpretation of omics datasets and a solid background in statistics, programming, and molecular biology. In this role, you will contribute to the generation, integration, and interpretation of various omics datasets, including single-cell and bulk RNA sequencing data, to accelerate target identification, validation, and biomarker discovery. Your work will support our preclinical programs as they progress toward clinical development. Build and manage omics datasets (particularly bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing data) to support hypothesis generation and mechanistic insights
