Project Manager
Your Role: Own the Challenge
As a Project Manager in the field of automation, you take on full responsibility for complex projects in the process industry (oil & gas, chemicals) as well as in hydropower. With your technical expertise and project management experience, you guide projects from the proposal phase through to successful completion – both technically and commercially. You not only ensure smooth execution but also build long‑term customer relationships and play a key role in further developing our business.
* Lead complete automation projects from proposal preparation through project execution to final handover to the customer, covering all phases of the project lifecycle.
* Technical and commercial responsibility including resource planning, schedule and cost control, as well as risk and change management throughout the project.
* Selection and coordination of internal and external partners and close collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Controlling.
* Regular reporting to management on project status, opportunities, and risks, organization of on‑site installations and commissioning, support during customer acceptance, and identification of project opportunities including initiation of follow‑up projects with customers.
What It Takes To Run What Runs The World
* Completed technical education (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, Technical University), ideally in electrical/power engineering or automation.
* Several years of experience in technical projects (plant engineering, automation, engineering).
* Solid commercial knowledge and confident use of MS Office; SAP experience is an advantage.
* Excellent German and good English skills.
* Class B driving license.
* Confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of teamwork.
* Structured, independent working style, cost awareness, and willingness to travel (:20% within Austria).

In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this position is € 57.000 gross per year as of May 2025. There is a clear willingness to offer compensation above the collectively agreed minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
