Job Description
Key responsibilities
* Develop and implement public affairs activities that align with business objectives
* Manage collaboration with key political stakeholders and represent Novartis in industry associations
* Prepare briefings for senior leadership and develop position papers and policy briefs
* Proactively monitor and analyze political and regulatory developments relevant to the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access Legal Medical and Commercial teams
Essential Requirements
* Several years of experience in public affairs and policy on either corporate or agency side or within the government or administration; ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
* Deep understanding of Austrias political and healthcare systems including regulatory and legislative processes and market access.
* Proven ability to build alliances and engage with high-level stakeholders at both federal and regional levels including government parliament and the social insurance sector.
* University degree in political science law communications public health or a related field.
* Proactive solution-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
* Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)

For this position the minimum salary is 69.662 / year (on a full-time basis). In most cases the actual salary will be higher as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience qualifications and individual competencies.
We are open for part-time and job-sharing models and support flexible and remote working where possible.
