Senior Specialist Corporate Controlling - Purchasing Focused (f/m/d)
In this role, you will ensure compliance with finance guidelines, manage budgets and costs, and support analysis and forecast to optimize resources and performance. It also leads spend controlling, focusing on procurement data migration, spend analysis, cost optimization, and providing reports for strategic decisions.
Your Responsibilities
Functional Controlling
- Ensure compliance with finance and controlling guidelines across functions
- Manage daily financial operations and reporting on budget vs. actual performance
- Collaborate with IT and Demand Management to track investments and functional costs
- Monitor personnel, FTEs, and overhead to optimize resource allocation
- Support financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for operational efficiency
Spend Controlling
- Oversee procurement data migration and maintain spend analysis tools
- Monitor procurement costs and savings, identifying optimization opportunities
- Provide ad-hoc reports and analyses to support strategic decisions
Your Profile
- Bachelor or above degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or related fields
- Over 5 years working experience in finance, cost/spend controlling, and financial analysis within procurement or supply chain management
- Solid understanding of budget planning, cost analysis, forecasting, and actual vs. plan comparisons
- Advanced skills in Excel and data migration skills, SAP, data cube analysis and financial reporting tools
- Skilled in partnering with IT, Demand Management, and procurement teams to align financial processes with operations
- Hands‑on, results‑driven mindset with commitment to excellence in delivery
- Fluent in English both oral and written
