Lab Process & Data Specialist – Deputy to Lab Operations Manager
Imprint Analytics specializes in analytical assurance of origin and authenticity of products and raw materials. We support our customers with innovative solutions for routine monitoring as well as for complex projects and questions.
We are looking for a structured and proactive individual to support and optimize our laboratory workflows, maintain data structures, and work closely with the Lab Operations Manager to ensure an efficient daily laboratory operation. In this role, you will also take on a clearly defined deputy function for Lab Operations, contributing significantly to workflow coordination, prioritization, and operational efficiency.
Job profile
Coordination and prioritization of daily laboratory workflows, including task allocation and scheduling
Hands‑on operational work in the laboratory (e.g., sample preparation, equipment handling, material flow)
Acting as deputy to the Lab Operations Manager in defined areas of responsibility and during absences
Maintenance, administration, and optimization of laboratory data (spreadsheets, data archives, LIMS entries)
Material and inventory management, including procurement and stock organization
Ensuring timely execution of work plans, priorities, and project timelines
Supporting process improvements, quality management, and continuous optimization initiatives
Participation in internal and external meetings within an international laboratory network
Acting as an interface between Laboratory Operations, Data Management, Operations, and Quality Assurance

The minimum gross salary under the applicable collective agreement is EUR 3,100 per month based on full‑time employment. Depending on qualifications and professional experience, overpayment is possible.
Ideal applicant
Completed HTL, technical/vocational training, apprenticeship with relevant experience, or a higher scientific qualification (e.g., Bachelor/FH)
At least 3 years of laboratory experience in a practical, private‑sector or industrial laboratory environment
Experience in laboratory organization, team coordination, or operational lab leadership is an advantage
Strong IT skills (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Planner, LIMS, structured data management)
Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication skills and experience working collaboratively across teams
Very good German and English language skills
Technical understanding of laboratory processes, workflow design, and quality‑driven working environments
