Overview
A well-established Japanese trading house is looking for a Trader to join their office in Vienna, Austria.
In this role you will be responsible for buying, negotiating, and inspecting timber products from Europe and selling to Japan HQ. The role involves weekly business trips during peak periods and strong presentation skills. Prior experience in sales would be advantageous.
Type: Permanent Contract
Working hours: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday. Currently, hybrid working style, working 3 days a week in office
Salary: €3,000-3,500 per month depending on experience, paid over 14 months

* Trader (Wood Products) Responsibilities:
* Buying, negotiating and inspecting timber products from Europe and selling to Japan HQ
* Handling customers through purchase to sales in all aspects of business
* Taking care of existing customers and developing new customers
* Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems
* Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
* Reporting to management by submitting daily activities & own analytical thought
* Trader (Wood Products) Ideal Candidate:
* Fluency in English
* Right to work (e.g., EU nationality, Vienna work permit)
* Minimum Bachelor’s or equivalent
* EU Driving license
* 2+ years of experience in sales field would be advantageous
* German and Japanese language skills are advantageous
* Experienced in another company for at least 3 years would be advantageous
* Communication and negotiation skills
* Self-Confidence, Self-motivated
* Toughness for hard work and travels & Presentation skills
