As Akdeniz Chemson, one of the OYAK Group companies, which is the world's leading polymer additive manufacturer; we are looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist for our company to be assigned at our location Arnoldstein, Austria.
Qualifications
* Completed commercial education (e.g., HAK, HLW, business studies) and solid further education in (balance sheet) accounting
* Several years of professional experience in accounting and financial reporting in an international environment
* In-depth experience in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under UGB and IFRS, including consolidated reporting
* Proven expertise in liquidity planning and handling of tax and social security reporting (VAT, corporate tax, capital gains tax, VAT ID checks, etc.)
* Experience with data migration and year-end reconciliations to ensure data integrity
* Experience in independently and confidently conducting external audits and routine correspondence with tax advisors, auditors, and lawyers
* Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken
* Strong SAP knowledge (especially FI/CO) and proficient in standard office software
* High degree of personal responsibility, structured and solution-oriented working style, and strong analytical skills
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Willingness to pursue continuous professional development

Responsibilities
* Execution of accounting activities such as account reconciliations, accounts payable, and travel expense processing
* Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to UGB and IFRS
* Handling of complex accounting transactions
* Responsibility for payment transactions and liquidity planning
* Checking incoming invoices in the digital workflow and monitoring the dunning process
* Preparation of budget and forecast in close cooperation with relevant departments
* Responsibility for complex booking processes
* Confident handling of system-defined accounting processes in SAP S/4HANA (including testing and process adaptation)
* Cross-functional collaboration to ensure financial transparency and efficiency
* Extensive knowledge of tax reporting requirements (e.g., VAT, corporate income tax, KEST, UID verification) and performing year-end reconciliations to ensure data integrity
* Preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and internal group reporting
* Preparing tax returns for European entities and group-wide tax reporting
* Confident handling of external audits and professional communication with tax advisors, auditors, and lawyers
* Coordination of finance topics in close collaboration with Finance & Controlling
