The Gradi Groups Fine Foods site is looking for an experienced Production Site Manager to lead our large-scale food production facility in a full-time senior leadership role.
Required: Extensive experience in large-scale food manufacturing or warehouse-based food production environments, with strong operational and team leadership capability.
Salary: $140,000 - 180,000 per annum + superannuation (depending on experience)
Location: 1–23 Lens Street, Coburg North VIC 3058
This is a senior operational role responsible for overseeing end-to-end food production, logistics, compliance, and team performance at our production facility.
You will lead daily operations across preparation, packaging, dispatch, maintenance, and inventory control while ensuring food safety, efficiency, and quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily production operations across all product lines
* Lead and develop production, warehouse, and supervisory teams
* Manage production planning, scheduling, and output to meet demand
* Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, WHS, and regulatory requirements
* Oversee logistics, inventory control, and dispatch accuracy
* Monitor labour, waste, yield, and cost control to optimise efficiency
* Manage equipment maintenance and minimise operational downtime
* Collaborate with Finance and QA teams to ensure accurate reporting and audit readiness
* Drive continuous improvement across systems, workflow, and site performance
What You’ll Bring
* 5+ years’ leadership experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or large-scale food production
* Strong operational and production planning capability
* Demonstrated experience managing cross‑functional teams
* Strong understanding of food safety compliance and WHS legislation
* Ability to manage high‑volume output in a fast‑paced environment
* Strong organisational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
* Hands‑on leadership approach with strong attention to detail
Licences & Certifications (Highly Regarded)
* HACCP / Food Safety Supervisor certification
* Food handling and allergen training
* First Aid (including CPR)
* Forklift licence (desirable)
