EFI is seeking a strategic thinker and strong writer to drive its editorial and analytical work — someone capable of turning complex developments in international affairs into compelling narratives that inform and inspire.
We are open to different levels of experience: depending on the profile, this role may be framed as Content Strategist or evolve into Head of Content.

Responsibilities
Develop EFI’s editorial and analytical agenda, aligning it with the organisation’s mission and values.
Commission, edit, and produce original essays, briefings, and multimedia formats.
Identify emerging political, social, and technological challenges relevant to Europe’s future.
Collaborate with fellows, contributors, and partners across Europe.
Shape EFI’s external voice through publications, newsletters, and media engagement.
Qualifications
3–8 years of experience in journalism, research, policy analysis, or editorial management.
Proven ability to analyse international and European affairs with depth and clarity.
Outstanding writing and editing skills in English (additional European languages are an asset).
Strong analytical mindset, creative thinking, and capacity to connect ideas with audiences.
Experience managing contributors, workflows, and editorial timelines.
Preferred background: journalism, research, or editorial roles.
