Job Description Director Finance and Taxes (m/f/d)
Location : Amstetten
Level : Management Level | Leadership Role | Corporate Structure
In this key position, you will oversee the central finance functions at Group level in cooperation with the CFO of the Umdasch Group and lead several experienced teams:
Your tasks - responsibility at Group level
Lead the departments Shared Accounting Services Austria, Corporate Accounting, Taxes and SAP FI/CO Support with around 20 team members
Define Group-wide accounting standards and financial reporting policies
Prepare consolidated financial statements (UGB), reports for the Supervisory Board, Audit Committee and banks
Take responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and coordinating with Treasury on net debt planning
Serve as a key contact person for special accounting topics such as reorganisations and M&A integrations
Manage the global SAP FI/CO support incl. system support and customisation
Ensure efficient financial processes in the accounting organisation of 13 Austrian entities (Shared Accounting Services Austria)
Develop global Group tax strategies and oversee national and international tax matters, transfer pricing policies, and compliance with OECD Pillars
Qualifications Your profile - technically strong, strategic thinker
Degree in finance, accounting or economics
Several years of experience in a senior finance role within a corporate environment
Sound knowledge of Group Accounting and UGB, in addition potentially IFRS
Proficient in SAP FI/CO, ideally with experience in customization and system management
Excellent analytical skills, structured approach to work, and a high sense of responsibility
Strong leadership and communication skills when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders

For this position, we offer a market-compliant salary based on your qualifications and relevant professional experience.
We are legally required to state the minimum salary for this position. According to the collective agreement for the wood processing industry, the annual gross minimum salary for a full-time position is EUR 68,628 .
