What You Will Enjoy Doing
You will transform legacy procurement departments into a cluster organization, focusing on team efficiency, optimal purchase conditions, and cross-country synergies
In this role you will lead and develop a high-performing procurement team, introducing strategic and operational frameworks
Also, you will identify and realize cost-saving opportunities with a strong focus on hard savings and improved payment terms
Additionally, you will define and implement sourcing strategies for materials, focusing on cost, quality, supplier relationships, and risk
Centralizing warehouse management, ensuring efficient operations, optimized inventory levels, and reduced scrapping costs will be part of this role
You will harmonize processes across the cluster, introducing efficiency improvements, automation solutions, and compliance practices
What Makes You Great
You own a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or similar (additional qualifications are a plus)
You provide minimum 10 years of professional experience, including 3+ years in procurement and 3+ years in leadership roles
You have strong analytical and negotiation skills, including legal expertise for evaluating contracts
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and data analytics tools (e.g., Celonis) is required
You are able to demonstrate expertise in defining strategies, execution, and process optimization
Fluency in English and Hungarian or German (additional languages are advantageous) is mandatory
Knowledge of the gases industry and local supplier landscapes is preferred but not mandatory
You demonstrate a willingness to travel within the cluster
