Overview You will join Planon as a Senior Java Developer to contribute to our software solutions for the construction and real estate industries. This role sits within Planon Real Estate and COOR, offering opportunities to work on project controlling solutions and related areas within the Planon Real Estate portfolio.
Responsibilities You independently develop innovative solutions for our real estate software products using Core Java 8 or above (Collections, Exceptions, JUnits) and data structures.
You conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
You focus on quality, performance, and reusability.
You embody the Scrum spirit within a self-organizing team.
You work closely with the Product Owner and other stakeholders.
Profile / Qualifications You have completed IT training or hold a university degree (FH/TU) in Computer Science.
You have 4-6 years of professional experience as a software developer using an object-oriented programming language.
Ideally, you already have experience in developing REST APIs.
You have knowledge and experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
You work independently and analytically while remaining creative, eager to learn, and a team player.
You use strong German (B2) and English language skills to communicate confidently in a global environment.
