Do you have what it takes to lead hundreds of gaming events across 50+ markets and make RedBull the global benchmark in Esports & Gaming experiences?If yes, then join our Global Gaming and Esports Team as a Head of Gaming Event Marketing at our RedBull HQ in Salzburg, Austria!ResponsibilitiesAll the responsibilities we'll trust you with:Own and shape RedBull’s global gaming event strategy, leading the creation and execution of world-class gaming, esports, and entertainment events leveraging top-tier intellectual properties such as Microsoft or Sony, and the influence of RedBull Players. Develop and implement a long-term vision to solidify RedBull’s presence in gaming. Oversee contract negotiations, including budgets, performance agreements, objectives, and branding guidelines.Maintain regular contact with over 50 international colleagues to ensure strategic oversight of projects and competitions across markets. Lead global business planning for gaming events and guide national Gaming Marketing teams on event execution.Act as the key contact for internal departments—RedBull Media Network, Partnerships, Legal, Brand Marketing, On Premise, Off Premise—ensuring alignment and collaboration. Work closely with external stakeholders and support partnership teams to drive revenue from gaming events. Ensure smooth information flow among all parties.Manage a team of professionals, focusing on talent development, performance, and long-term succession planning.Lead new projects and business discussions related to gaming events, including consumer activations, sales opportunities, merchandising, and developing new partnership and revenue models. Evolve gaming, esports, and entertainment event strategies and manage the RedBull markets portfolio, thinking innovatively beyond traditional approaches.Minimum Requirements10+ years in a leading marketing role within the event space (gaming, esports, sports) at RedBull or similar, with full content and budget responsibility.Proven collaboration with gaming event organizers, a strong network in the industry, and familiarity with PC, console, and mobile games. Being an active gamer with knowledge of titles like CS, League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant, Rainbow Six, Age of Empires II is essential.Successful track record as an independent project leader with impactful initiatives, strong leadership skills, and team management experience.Strong organizational skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to manage complex projects across stakeholders and markets.Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills; fluency in English is mandatory, additional languages are a plus.Travel requirement: 30-40%Join the TeamGot what it takes?In your application, share your personal style—what motivates you and why you believe this opportunity fits you.Apply NowDue to legal reasons, the minimum salary for this position is €5,472 gross per month, as per the collective agreement.
