Your Responsibilities – Varied And Challenging Customs
Monitor customs procedures, duties, and HTS Code support
Manage simplified customs processes
Communicate with customs authorities across Europe (mainly Germany)
Monitor customs audits and develop solutions to complex customs issues
Implement and monitor foreign trade regulations in Germany; create work instructions; support EU locations in export & customs law implementation
Handle long-term supplier declarations
Prepare Intrastat reports for Austria & Germany, including contact with authorities
Export Control
Manage and monitor export licenses and exemptions for Germany, CZ and PT; support all EU plants
Perform restricted-party screenings; coordinate positive hits with Sales, Customer Experience, and Purchasing; maintain SAP partner restrictions
Support global Trade Compliance team in:
Export license coordination
Daily SAP blocked order handling
HTS code review
Your Profile – What You Bring With You
Solid commercial/business education
Strong practical knowledge of: MS Office, SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4HANA (preferred, but not mandatory), Intrastat software (IDEV)
Experience with Restricted Party Screening systems (RPS)
Comprehensive knowledge of customs and international trade law, including the Harmonized Tariff System (HTS), preferential origin documentation, Intrastat reporting, long-term supplier declarations, import/export customs processing, and simplified customs procedures
Proven expertise in export control and trade compliance
Experience with export licenses, exemptions, and partner screening processes
Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
Strong team spirit combined with excellent international communication skills

Salary The minimum starting salary is classified under grade E of the collective agreement for the Electrical and Electronics Industry. Any overpayment and final classification will, of course, be adjusted according to your qualifications and experience.
