My client is an engineering leading company from Austria, for them I am currently looking for a Freelance Simulation Engineer (m/f/x) who’s expert in Metal Analysis.
Framework
* Start asap, latest June
* Project duration: first contract until end of the year + possibility of extension
* Location: Tyrol, Austria
* Workplace: 1 week onsite/month, rest is possible remote
* Project language: English
Your responsibilities
* Work in a global engineering team on Finite Element method development for engine components
* 1D Dynamic modelling of core engine components (Valvetrain & Torsional Vibration Analysis) and work closely with our technical experts
* Experience in AVL Excite, Ansys Mechanical and GT Power would be a benefit.
* Verify the models to existing test data and potentially develop improved test methods to close gaps in understanding.
* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and broaden your technical knowledge while deepening your understanding of industrial gas engines business
Your profile
* At least 5 years of professional career in Mechanical engineering and simulation/analysis
* Passion for structural analysis and reciprocating gas engines.
* Proven experience doing metal analysis: Valvetrain & Torsional Vibration Analysis
* Experience with Python and data visualization methods
* Solid communication skills in English
