Overview
We are looking for students with the willingness to work in a challenging environment within a highly motivated international team. This specific job is suitable for students within technical studies in electronic engineering. Students will support validation of new semiconductor solutions and may participate in chip design processes.
Type of employment: Temporary / part-time or full-time (Flexible working hours Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.).
Duration: minimum 12 months. Bachelor or Master Thesis topics are available if requested.
Key Responsibilities
* Mixed‑Signal and RF Exposure: Gain experience with Mixed‑Signal High‑Speed, RF, mmWave, and Integrated Circuits
* High‑Speed and RF Measurements: Develop expertise in measurements related to High‑Speed PLLs, Data Communication (Jitter, Eye Diagrams, BERT), and work with advanced RF/mmWave equipment
* Data Processing Applications: Acquire knowledge in data processing for digital communication and radar applications
* Practical Validation Experience: Gain hands‑on experience in validation and debugging processes
* PCB Design and Prototyping: Contribute to the design of PCBs for product measurements and evaluate new tools and methodologies
* Comprehensive Validation Flow: Familiarize yourself with validation processes, defining measurement setups, automation, data post‑processing, and analysis
Qualifications & Skills
* Pursuing a degree in Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field
* Strong foundation in mathematical concepts, circuit analysis, FFT, algorithms, or digital filtering
* Proficiency in Matlab and strong programming skills
* Familiarity with instruments such as Oscilloscopes, Signal Spectrum Analyzers, and Vector Network Analyzers
* Basic knowledge of Oscillators, PLLs, Transceivers, RF or mmWave Blocks, and RADAR hardware
* Demonstrated interest or potential experience in data processing for digital communication and radar applications
* Good English skills and a structured, precise working approach
Employment Agreement
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full‑time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students.
