Description About the role At Digital Realty, we are looking for a hands-on Implementation Services Manager (f/m/d) in Vienna to drive the successful delivery of customer installations and white space fit-out projects within our data center environments. This role is critical in ensuring that complex customer solutions are delivered on time, on budget, and with the highest quality standards — directly impacting customer satisfaction and long-term success. The position operates at a subregional level, with responsibility for projects across the DE, AT, KR, and CH region, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams and multiple sites Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end delivery of customer implementation projects Plan, coordinate, and execute white space fit-outs and infrastructure installations Manage internal teams (e.g. Remote Hands, Operations, Security) and external vendors Oversee project timelines, budgets, procurement, and resource allocation Act as the primary interface for customers during project delivery Conduct quality checks, audits, and acceptance processes Ensure smooth handover to Operations, including full documentation Support RFP processes and vendor selection for larger installations Track and report project costs, changes, and lessons learned Coordinate multiple parallel projects in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment Your Profile Experience in data center operations, construction, or telecom / engineering environments Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure (racks, cages, power, cabling) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans Solid experience in project management, ideally with certification (PMP or similar) Strong commercial awareness, including cost tracking and budget ownership Hands-on experience with MS Project and MS Office tools (Excel, Visio, etc.) Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong customer focus and stakeholder management capabilities Ability to operate independently and deliver under pressure What makes you successful in this role You are a true team player, able to align cross-functional teams without formal authority You bring a structured, detail-oriented mindset with strong execution focus You excel in customer-facing situations and drive the best possible outcomes You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced data center environment A bit about us Digital Realty is the leading provider of carrier and cloud neutral data centre services by delivering the full spectrum of data center, colocation and interconnection solutions.
