Job Description SummaryThe Clinical Product Manager (f/m/d) AI & Women's Health Ultrasound plays a key role in ensuring that AI powered ultrasound features are clinically relevant, safe, intuitive, and effective. This role serves as the bridge between clinical users, product development, and product management.You will contribute deep clinical insight, shape clinical requirements, support data and model development, and execute clinical evaluations that accelerate the delivery of impactful AI features.At GE HealthCare, our machines, our software, our solutions, our services, and our people make a genuine difference to medical professionals and patients all over the world. That's because we never lose sight of what healthcare really needs—the human touch.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Voice of the CustomerGather user feedback through clinical engagement, observations, interviews, and structured evaluations.Translate clinical insights into clear, actionable requirements for engineering and algorithm development teams.Support definition of clinical use cases, workflow needs, and acceptance criteria for AI features.Translate and report customer evaluation feedback to engineering with clarity of actions to be derived for improving product.User Interface & Interaction, Clinical Evaluation and VerificationLead usability and user experience (UX) initiatives for ultrasound consoles, ensuring intuitive and efficient interaction for diverse clinical environments.Partner with UI/UX engineers, software and hardware teams to specify, evaluate, and validate user interface designs, focusing on logical, architectural, and data partitioning between hardware and AI components.Drive the development and documentation of user-centric features, including onboarding, training, and support materials.Evaluate user experience across hardware, software, and AI elements to ensure cohesive feature integration.Conduct hands‑on testing of AI and clinical features to assess usability, robustness, and diagnostic support value.Reproduce clinical issues and document them clearly for engineering, providing detailed clinical interpretation.Global Collaboration & Evidence GenerationSupport the rollout of clinical and AI features across multiple regions (USCAN, China, International), adapting solutions to meet local regulatory and user requirements.Facilitate cross-functional and cross-regional communication, ensuring alignment on product strategy, regulatory submissions, and resource planning.Collaborate with clinical partners, KOLs, and research sites to gather high‑quality data and real‑world insightsParticipate in global pilot programs, developer platform initiatives, and commercialization efforts for new medical device features.Support collection of clinical data.Regulatory & Compliance SupportAssist in the design input, risk management, and regulatory compliance planning for new product introductions (NPI), including Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) and Multiple Function Device Products (MFDP).Execute verification and validation activities related to safety, performance, and clinical effectivenessContribute to hazard analysis, verification, and validation documentation, ensuring safe and effective integration of AI features.Continuous Improvement & InnovationMonitor clinical & market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging AI capabilities to inform product strategy and feature prioritization.Collect and collate feature requests from internal and external partners, supporting the development of scalable, high-value solutions.Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce clinical variability through AI solutionsQualificationsClinical background in women's health, radiology, or related field preferred.Experience with ultrasound systems, medical device software, or AI-powered clinical applications.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to articulate clinical needs to technical audiences.Familiarity with regulatory requirements for medical devices and software (FDA, CE, MRD, etc.).Proven ability to drive user-centric design and product innovation.Willingness to travel nationally/internationally up to 30% of the timeThe role can be located anywhere in the DACH regionFluent English and good German skillsWhat We OfferWe offer a role specific compensation and a competitive salary and fringe benefit package reflecting your profile and experience.In Austria we are required to state the minimum pay.
