Responsibilities Independent planning and execution of international ocean freight transportation
Organization and management of ocean freight shipments independently
Coordination of transport schedules and preparation of quotations
Careful monitoring and ensuring smooth operations of ocean freight transport
Handling written and telephone inquiries related to ocean freight
Performing cost and revenue checks for ocean shipments
Communicating with international customers, partners, carriers, and shipping lines
Close collaboration with other departments to ensure efficient order processing
Proactively managing and resolving claims to achieve swift and efficient resolutions
Ensuring accuracy and completeness in the preparation and review of invoices
Preparing and reviewing transport documents to facilitate seamless logistics processes
Monitoring and adhering to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to continuously improve operational efficiency and quality
Qualifications Completed commercial education (e.g., HAK, HAS) or solid logistics/forwarding training
Experience in transport management is essential – expertise in ocean freight is an advantage but not mandatory
Strong proficiency in transport management software and MS Office applications
High customer service orientation and problem‑solving mindset
Organizational skills and a structured work approach
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Reliability and a high sense of responsibility
Excellent written and spoken German and English skills – additional languages are a plus

Compensation We will determine your salary based on your professional and personal qualifications in line with market standards. The legally required minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position is EUR 35,875.00 gross per year, with a willingness for significant overpayment.
