General Services Building Maintenance Electrical, hydraulic, and welding skills with Facharbeiterpruefung (Gesellpruefung) in the field. General Services Equipment Operation and Repair Thorough knowledge of the area of work in particular a very good technical understanding of the modern techniques utilized in all cooling systems. Administrative Support MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Basic knowledge of the MS Office package.
Qualifications, Experience and Language skills
1. Completed secondary education.
2. Relevant vocational school certificate required in HVAC systems, mechanical, or equivalent. Specialization in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
3. Facharbeiterpruefung (Gesellpruefung) in the relevant technical field.
4. Refrigeration technician with completed apprenticeship and master craftsman's certificate including 5 years of practical experience in service and maintenance as team leader with good knowledge of the applicable Austrian Standards and Regulations OR completed training at a technical high school (HTL) in the field of building services/mechatronics/cooling technology with 5 years of practical experience in service and maintenance as team leader with good knowledge of the applicable Austrian Standards and Regulations.
5. Extensive experience maintaining and repairing HVAC systems with good working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulics systems, and welding.
6. Excellent oral and written command of English and German. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
7. Administrative skills test to IAEA standard might be part of the selection process.
Remuneration
The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at EUR 57876 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), 6 weeks' annual vacation, pension plan and health insurance.
