Responsibilities
* Lead and manage medical software projects from concept through development, validation, and release
* Plan, coordinate, and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources
* Ensure compliance with applicable medical device regulations and standards (e.g. IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971)
* Act as the primary interface between software development, quality management, regulatory affairs, and external partners
* Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
* Track project progress and report status to stakeholders and management
* Ensure proper documentation throughout the entire software lifecycle
Requirements
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
* Proven experience in managing software projects within the medical device or regulated environment
* Solid understanding of medical software development lifecycles and regulatory requirements
* Strong project management skills and experience with relevant methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external suppliers
* Structured, goal-oriented, and reliable working style
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
