Our customer is one of the largest manufacturers of commercial trucks world-wide. In order to strengthen the competence in the area of development of new energy commercial vehicles, they have opened a new R&D Center in Steyr (Upper Austria) that focusses on the development of alternative energy commercial vehicles. For this R&D Center we are currently looking for a
Technical Requirements Engineer for Commercial Trucks (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
1. Together with the Development Director play a key role in the definition of future commercial trucks for the worldwide market.
2. Working together in international cross-functional teams
3. Define the requirements for electrified (and conventional) trucks
4. Take part in the definition of future commercial vehicle portfolio
5. Benchmarking of commercial vehicles and their subsystems
Your profile:
6. Technical education/degree in machine building, mechatronics, electronics or similar
7. Several year experience in development of commercial vehicles
8. Experience with zero-emission vehicles, powertrain and other components
9. Knowledge in calculation of efficiency and range of zero-emission vehicles
10. Understanding of European commercial vehicle norms and market requirements
11. Fluent English language skills, German an added advantage
12. Truck driving license an added advantage
