MERKUR Excellence, based in Raaba near Graz, was founded in 2018 as part of the MERKUR GROUP and specializes in game design and development, with a particular focus on casino games. We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Product Owner to take ownership of complex development initiatives and lead cross‑functional teams in delivering innovative products from concept to release. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, hands‑on execution, and stakeholder management.
Your Responsibilities
* As our Senior Project Manager / Product Owner (m/f/d), you own and drive end‑to‑end planning, execution, and delivery of development projects
* You define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation in alignment with business goals
* Moreover, you lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams including development, design, QA, and stakeholders
* In addition, you monitor project progress, identify risks early, and implement effective mitigation strategies
* Last but not least, you communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment
Your profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
* Several years of experience in project management and/or product ownership in software or game development
* Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams in complex technical environments
* Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban); Waterfall experience is a plus
* Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
