As an experienced Service Technician, you will support our international customers in maintaining and further developing their systems. With your technical know-how, you ensure reliable system availability and provide professional, service-oriented support – with a clear focus on remote troubleshooting, communication, and documentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
* Customer service and technical support
* Professional, prompt, and comprehensive handling of international service requests
* Supporting our customers in maintaining and optimizing their systems
* Error analysis and troubleshooting on-site and remotely
* Performing system maintenance and upgrades
* Participating in the 24/7 service hotline on a team rotation basis
* Reports, documentation & administration
* Preparing service and maintenance reports as well as performance records
* Assisting in preparing quotes for service work, maintenance, and spare parts concepts
* Collaboration and communication
* Acting as the customer interface to 3rd level support
* Active exchange with Sales, Implementation, and R&D on improvements
* Open and respectful communication within the team, including participation in team meetings
* Supporting and onboarding new colleagues
YOUR PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
* Completed technical education (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Automation, IT)
* Several years of professional experience in technical service or a similar position
* Basic programming knowledge (PLC, node-based, graphical user interfaces)
* Strong knowledge of networks, fieldbus systems, and digital signal transmission
* Excellent written and spoken English skills
* Flexibility for short-term international assignments (usually only a few days)
