Your main tasks and responsibilities
* Develop and maintain the production plan in alignment with demand forecasts, production capacities, and inventory targets
* Evaluate the impact of production changes on global demand and adjust the production plan to customer needs
* Assess the effect of demand fluctuations on planned production and replan accordingly to avoid overstock or stockouts
* Balance global supply and demand; proactively identify imbalances and propose effective resolution strategies
* Prepare demand and supply plans for weekly S&OE meetings
* Escalate issues affecting short-term planning and execution, and follow up on defined actions and decisions
* Confirm product availability and communicate any changes in the supply plan to Corporate and Local Customer Service teams
* Drive continuous improvement, have open mindset for changes and new initiatives & contribute to S&OE projects and initiatives
Your expertise and ideal skill set
* Academic education in Supply Chain & Logistics, Engineering or Business Informatics
* Minimum 2 years of working experience in Supply Chain area, preferably in manufacturing environment
* High level of computer literacy in MS Office, in particular Excel and used to work with SAP
* Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
* Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
* Strong analytical and rational decision-making skills
* Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
* High level of attention to details and accuracy of information
