Job Title: Lead Category Manager
This role involves leading the development and implementation of global sourcing strategies for indirect Sourcing. You will ensure INNIO's access to top talent and services, drive cost efficiency, and support business growth while maintaining compliance and supplier performance standards.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive global sourcing strategies
2. Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to secure optimal terms
3. Nurture relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
4. Monitor market trends, identify risks/opportunities, and implement cost reduction initiatives
5. Evaluate and maintain compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards
6. Analyze and improve supplier performance (quality, delivery, service levels)
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in project execution and problem resolution
8. Analyze spend data, prepare reports, and present findings to management
9. Participate in global/regional procurement projects
Your Profile:
* Several years' experience in strategic procurement or commodity management
* Degree in business administration or similar
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Global, matrixed organization experience is a plus
* Fluency in English and German is a plus
* Willingness to travel internationally (up to 10%)
