Job Description
* International procurement of custom‑made parts in compliance with technical specifications and economic conditions
* Conducting price and contract negotiations
* Development and implementation of procurement strategies for specific commodity groups
* Selection, evaluation, consolidation, and management of suppliers
* Effective communication with suppliers and internal departments, as well as handling of complaints
* Ensuring continuous supply
* Close collaboration with Research & Development, Quality Assurance, and Production Planning
* Ongoing optimization of procurement processes and activities
Qualifications
* Completed technical education in mechanical engineering or commercial education with additional technical qualification (apprenticeship, technical college, or university)
* Professional experience in international technical purchasing is essential (preferably with low‑cost countries)
* Sound technical understanding
* Legal knowledge and SAP skills are an advantage
* Excellent German and English skills
* Strong business mindset combined with high social competence
* Independent, structured, and quality‑conscious way of working
* Strong communication and teamwork skills

We offer a fair and market‑aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is €3,600 (based on full‑time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
