Qualifications, Experience and Language skills
1. Master's Degree - Advanced university degree in remote sensing, geography, information technology, sciences, engineering, international relations or a closely related field is required.
2. Bachelor's Degree - University degree in remote sensing, geography, information technology, sciences, engineering, international relations or a closely related field with two additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the advanced degree.
3. Minimum of seven years of practical, hands-on experience in satellite imagery analysis including experience relating to nuclear proliferation and nuclear-related infrastructure analysis.
4. Extensive experience in effectively integrating satellite imagery analysis with diverse sources of other safeguards-relevant information.
5. Demonstrated experience in routinely producing well-researched, high-quality analytical products and presenting methods, techniques, and findings to internal clients at all levels across the Department.
6. Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset.
Remuneration
The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $84672 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), a variable post adjustment which currently amounts to US $ 44114*, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses; Other benefits include 6 weeks' annual leave, home leave travel, pension plan and health insurance.
