The role reports to the Head of Service Finance, is supervised by the Lead Financial Analyst (MSA), and focuses on analytics around the service product line (MSAs). The incumbent reviews key financial metrics with the Lead Financial Analyst (MSA) on a monthly basis and provides technical guidance and support to Operations teams to ensure the MSA process is effective, efficient, and compliant with INNIO policies and procedures.
Your Responsibilities
* Assist Lead Financial Analyst (MSA) in planning: Budget, 3+9, 6+6, 9+3 for Material Stream Agreements (MSAs) by collaborating with regional teams and consolidating files received from regional teams
* Maintain and update MSA usage model on a quarterly basis and book relevant journal entries related to revenue accruals/deferrals
* Support Lead Financial Analyst (MSA) by running pacing meetings with regional teams, sharing actuals and MSA split by type and region, and explaining regional dynamics, risks and opportunities to Head of Service Finance/Head of Service
* Support MSA Finance Manager by participating in monthly financial closing and analyzing sales and margin vs plan (Budget, 3+9, 6+6, etc.) and vs prior year, explaining the main drivers
* Prepare key financial metrics related to MSAs on a monthly basis and report to Lead Financial Analyst (MSA)/Head of Service Finance/Head of Service/VP for Controlling
* Liaise and collaborate with Operations and other Finance teams to solve complex accounting/service finance issues and implement sustainable working solutions
* Assist Lead Financial Analyst (MSA) in reviewing and validating VCP savings related to the MSA product line driven by the Service team
* Collaborate with Lead Financial Analyst (MSA) to support Operational teams and other Finance teams with solving complex accounting/service finance issues and working on projects to simplify and automate MSA processes
* Work with Lead Financial Analyst (MSA) to provide data for KPMG audits, collect backups, and explain the process controls in place
* Own account reconciliations for unbilled revenue and deferred cost accounts
Your Profile
* Bachelor\'s/Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business Administration
* Good professional financial experience
* Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
* Excellent communication skills and assertiveness: experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information
* Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications, strong Excel skills
* A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
