The team "Hotels & Tourism Finance" provides commercial real financing to real estate developers, real estate funds, operators and investors active in the hotel, tourism and leisure segment. It serves clients in the whole Erste region (Austria & CEE) and holds an industry relevant steering function across Erste Group. Acting as a single point of contact for our clients, we provide a variety of financing solutions and actively manage client exposures with a view on regional and product diversification. We foster close cooperation with local Erste sales units, product experts and other internal service providers, coordinate and drive external as well as internal business processes, regardless of the final booking entity (Erste Group Vienna or local bank).
Your Tasks
* Assume responsibility for a hotel loan book with international commercial real estate investors and developers
* Identify and address new clients, and analyze new business opportunities
* Structure tailor-made financing solutions with the willingness to campaign for it in order to get deals done
* Lead the acquisition and pitching process with contribution of tourism sector know-how in CEE
* Deal with clients (real estate developers, real estate funds and investors of all kinds) and establish a long-lasting client relationship
* Negotiate transactions and contract documentation with internal and external legal support
* Create strong internal and external networks e.g. with risk management, back office units, industry experts, consultants
Your Background
* A degree in business administration, law or a quantitative field or equivalent education
* 3-5 years of experience in banking or hotel-specific know-how including the ability to analyze hotel-specific topics such as USALI standardized reporting; profound knowledge of different types of hotel operating agreements including topics such as GOP guarantee, lease agreement guarantees, level of involvement of hotel operators, FF&E, NDA agreements
* Experience in dealing with clients (real estate developers, real estate funds, hotel operators and investors of all kinds) and ability to establish long-lasting relationships both with clients and internal departments
* Excellent analytical skills
* Ability to deal with diverse cultural backgrounds and entities across the CEE region
* Fluent in English; German and/or a CEE language is of advantage

* The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 49.772,80 gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
