The position is within the Real Estate Risk unit, focusing on international and domestic risk, including Corporates, Public and Institutional clients, Participations, and Project financing. Commercial Real Estate is a key growth and profitability area for the bank.
Main Tasks
* Analyze new and monitor existing Real Estate lending and investment proposals, including credit quality, collateral, and monitoring frameworks; prepare independent credit opinions for Credit Committee.
* Validate internal ratings for counterparties and facilities continuously.
* Review and approve waivers related to contract breaches, restructurings, and credit-related contract changes in consultation with other departments.
* Recommend credits for transfer to watchlist or workout group.
* Contribute to the development of risk policies and procedures and the overall Risk division.
* Participate in Credit Committee for relevant transactions.
* Support risk-related projects with expertise.
Your Profile
* Experience as a Real Estate Risk officer in a major financial institution, including syndications and mezzanine financing oversight.
* Familiarity with markets in Western Europe, UK, and US preferred.
* Knowledge of credit-related legal documentation and covenants.
* Experience with credit risk assessment methodologies, rating criteria, and risk-pricing techniques.
* Strong analytical skills and sound judgment on credit issues.
* Business judgment with understanding of broader business issues and risks.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Team player, capable of working under pressure.
* Interpersonal skills, including negotiation and collaboration, with flexibility.
* University degree or equivalent preferred.
* Proficiency in English and German essential.

Compensation
The minimum gross salary for this full-time role is €44,476.88 before tax, with potential for overpayment based on experience.
