Senior Project Manager / Project Manager- ATC/Air Defence
The Opportunity:
The Senior Project Manager or Project Manager is responsible for the planning and successful delivery of air traffic control, air defence and/or critical infrastructure projects to customers in Australia, New Zealand and the broader Asia-Pacific region. This involves leading project teams, managing suppliers and subcontractors, collaborating cross-functionally, communicating with stakeholders, and mitigating risks.
Responsibilities include:
* Manage all project activities and risks to ensure achievement of project objectives and milestones.
* Lead the project team including engineers, technicians and project support staff to create revenue through managing and coordinating projects to TCQ.
* Conduct regular project performance reviews to ensure the project is on track.
* Collaborate with Sales, Service and other functions to generate value for our customers.
* Develop and continually improve stakeholder relationships including internal and external customers and suppliers.
* Drive results by showing initiative and achieving results reliably, with broad perspective, pragmatism and persistence.
* Develop costings, proposals and plans for Contract Change Proposals (CCPs).
* Provide project management inputs including formulating delivery strategies for bids and tenders.
* Collaboratively work with our customers to truly deliver value in support of their key objectives and organizational needs.
* Promote continuous improvement in project delivery.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
* Bachelor of Engineering, or similar.
* Recognition as a Project Management Practitioner
* Delivered projects with value greater than $10 M within the Aviation/Aerospace (or similar) industry
* Experience in leading project teams comprising 10 or more staff
* Project Organization Management
* Project Planning
* Project Monitoring and Control

* Contract Management incl Change Management
* Subcontractor Management incl Subcontract Definition & Head Contract Alignment
* Project Reporting
* Financial Management
