Overview
Since 2014 we have been developing innovative NFC products, delivering hardware and software for points of sale terminals, wireless charging of wearables, and IoT applications. As part of the RENESAS family, our team addresses the rising demand for NFC across fintech, asset tracking, wireless charging, and automotive use cases.
Responsibilities
Analyze automotive customer use‑cases with product management and marketing.
Develop detailed, actionable product requirements based on customer needs.
Create system architecture that balances hardware‑software co‑design trade‑offs and fulfills defined requirements.
Ensure quality standards and guide the team throughout automotive development programs.
Develop integration and validation plans with interdisciplinary teams.
Support project managers and teams during implementation and validation, driving product quality targets.
Lead system‑level concept implementation across disciplines over the full project life cycle.
Interface with lead customers from product definition to production ramp‑up, technically driving new requirements and addressing critical system issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor, Master or PhD in Electronics, Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of industry experience.
Extensive experience defining system architectures for semiconductor SoC + software products in automotive.
Deep understanding of automotive semiconductor development flows and quality requirements (ISO9000, AEC‑Q100, ISO26262).
Strong organizational skills and structured work approach.
Experience with NFC/RFID or other wireless radio technologies is highly desirable.
Experience in system integration and hardware reference designs is desirable.
Comprehensive knowledge of product development lifecycle and processes.
Excellent communication, documentation, abstraction and presentation skills.
Proven ability to lead global technical teams and act as a customer‑facing technical lead.
