HOW YOU'LL IMPACT.
You redefine procurement through advanced technologies and AI - and you thrive on building scalable solutions that deliver measurable results. As Principal - Digital & AI, you will shape the future of procurement and supply chain by translating cutting-edge innovations into value–combining technical depth, strategic vision, and execution excellence.
Platform and product innovation: Develop and scale data-driven platforms and digital products with tangible business impact for our multinational clients – from GenAI-enabled contract intelligence and forecasting tools to decision support and process automation. This includes advanced capabilities such as automated opportunity and negotiation bots, enabling real-time opportunity identification and risk mitigation across procurement and supply chain ecosystems.
Emerging tech applied: Turn emerging technologies into solutions - where LLMs, agentic AI, automation, and machine learning areapplied purposefully to solve business-critical challenges. International tech leadership: Lead interdisciplinary teams and strengthen Inverto’s technical delivery capabilities across global locations – in close collaboration with BCG and BCG X.
Strategic commercialization: Own the strategic development andcommercialization of our digital and AI offerings - ensuring scalability, adoption, and measurable client impact.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING.
You hold a university degree with above-average results, ideally in a STEM or business-technical discipline, and bring 7–12 years of relevant professional experience. You have demonstrated leadership in consulting and technical delivery of AI/ML projects, particularly in GenAI use cases. Your track record includes successfully developing, scaling or commercializing AI-based solutions – ideally in procurement, supply chain or operations contexts.
You bring deep expertise in GenAI technologies, including LLM architectures, prompt engineering, and vector search, as well asdeployment using Azure, OpenAI, or Power Platform. You also have hands-on experience with machine learning, agentic AI systems, and user interface creation.
Strong business acumen and communication skills enable you to engage confidently with senior stakeholders, translate technical solutions into business outcomes, and drive cross-functional collaboration. You are experienced in leading diverse teams, mentoring future experts, and building organizational capabilities. A strategic mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and fluency in both German and English complete your profile.
